We were looking for the GYM version of this trampoline; the internet ad page said that it WAS what we wanted (the heavier duty version of the Urban Rebounder). However, there is no indication from the product or the packaging that this is anything other than the original U.R. That said, other than one leg not setting up right, it is a nice trampoline for a good price, [...] and lots of extras. We'll keep it!

I like the way it feels and rebounds. At 71, the cross bar adds the stability I need to get started and get a sense of balance.
Also I weigh 240 lbs and I was concerned the springs would stretch and the sewing on the straps would fail. It has been very good and does appear to holding very well.

Just jump on and have some fun.
Doesn't take up much space, we just fold down one leg and store it behind
our wall unit. That makes it easy to take out everyday.
We wish we had room for another one.

I bought the product mainly for my daycare children to use up their energy when we can't go outside!! They love it! The only con I have found about it is that the handle is difficult to line up. I got a good pinch on the thumb from pushing the little button and then the pole slid down and pinched.

I bought the trampoline for my 2 1/2 granddaughter. She immediately adapt to the product, had no problem getting off and on the trampoline. Excellent way to burn up her energy when their is bad weather outside and cannot go out and play. Product is easy to fold away to storage but may require two people to fold.

I have used this everyday for 45 minutes to 2 hours at a day for 8 days.
I have used the dvd that came with it, which is a good place to start just to get some ideas of different exercises to perform. I mostly just jog on it while listening to music or watching tv. I love it because I can exercise for longer periods of time and I am not sore at all. I also like that I don't get as winded, but am actually burning more calories than I do on a treadmill for the same amount of time. My only concern is the hooks that hold on the mat are not covered, which could cut your foot or leg if you misplaced your footing and fell through. I covered each hook using electrical tape. I have a teenage boy who may jump a little higher than me on it and I was very concerned that he could misstep and put his foot through the sides cutting himself. So I took about 45 minutes to get each hook covered.

I have had other mini trampolines in the past and the surface area on this one is way too small. I should actually return it but it is too much trouble. I would not purchase it again. Another retailer has one with a much beter surface area for 1/2 the price.

Dad just diagnosed with colon cancer, 73. I purchased for him after reviewing many options. Setup was a breeze. The unit seemed very solid and well built. I used the product myself for two workouts while visiting. I'm 6'-4", 200lb. Bounce was good to very good. Effective, comfortable. I found the diameter a little small for my height. My Dad, 6'-2, 220lb has gotten aboard twice and worked for a few minutes each time. He's looking forward to building up strength. The best bonus was the complimentary DVD set. Thorough, well done and a super head start to anyone new to bounding as was I.

My son is 13 and uses this trampoline to keep in shape for soccer. It took us only a few minutes to set it up. You do need 2 people to open it, but after that, one person can finish the assembly. I would recommend this highly.

It really does provoide an awsome workout for your heart and your legs, that is what I feel the most. I have had it for about 6 weeks now, and do not use it as much as when I first purchased it. I thought it would do more for me. But it really does work the legs, all over and the cardio is wonderful. I can do the treadmill at 9% incline for 35 min and it does not effect me as much as this does in 15 min.

We have really enjoyed our trampoline. We ordered this for our 5 year old son to burn off some energy. The setup seems intimidating at first, but it is all a matter of using strength to push the trampoline flat down and it will snap together. I am not 100% sure how to fold it back up and it seems potentially dangerous if you are doing it alone. The trampoline works fine and is sturdy (after a little over a month). Personally the hand bars that it came with are of no use to me and right now they are just taking up space, but it was a nice surprise to get free armbands since that was not advertised.
The delivery was prompt, had no problems.

Years ago I had used a mini-trampoline successfully for substantial weight loss and conditioning. I was so anxious to begin using my rebounder that I decided to go for a 2nd day workout. I have not been able to use it again as I hurt my knee in the process. I would love to hold onto this trampoline...I will see how my knee heals and if it isn't any better in a week or so I may need to return it. Rebounding may not be the best exercise for me...Unfortunately. I was so looking forward to this type of exercise right in the comfort of my own home!

I love rebounding. My sugar levels are normal since using and I have dropped over 65 #. BP , I still have issues and need medication. Did not help my cholestrol levels either, but my triglycerides dropped from 180 to 99. I just can not get my good cholestrol up from 35 to over 50. Puzzeling that one.
One draw back, three of the prong things that hold it together popped off while jumping and nearly dumped me off. I was able to keep my balance. I had used the same one for over 1.5 years so I guess time for a new one but they should warn you about that. Someone could get hurt. And the silver attachments went shooting out fast and hard, I have small grandchildren under 3, could have hit one of them.

My daughter loved this thing out of the box and still loves it...it travels well and stays up in our living room. My only complaint is that after a month we have lost one of the coils in the legs that lets you put it away. Otherwise would highly recommend for active kids...she uses with and without bar and is getting pretty amazing on it...legs of steel!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to set up and take down. I'm giving it to my 2 yr old granddaughter for her birthday in a few days because she is always jumping around. I was worried the bar was too high, but I think it will be OK. I jumped on it and it seems to be very sturdy. The bar does wiggle a little, but I didn't notice it to be a problem when I was jumping. I tried to get one with bungee cords, but they have been out of stock for over a month, so I bought this one because of the good reviews. I'll update my review if it doesn't work out as well as I'm hoping. Also, she has a couple of pretty rough brothers and I think this will work out better for them, too.

I like my Urban Rebounder just had a total hip replacement and doctor said it would be okay to use. It's easier on my joints. Safety bar does not fit perfectly in the leg slots. Other than that it was easy to put together.

The only problem is that the site states that it holds 350lbs and the manual states it hold 300lbs and it is not responsible for people over that weight to be using. I bought this product for my three year old son to jump on, because it seemed sturdier than the kid ones. So far so good, now granted hes only 35 lbs. so i don't think hes putting any stress on it but i'm very pleased with the sturdiness of the handlebar and the fact that the springs are covered up by the cover. The only thing i don' like is it doesnt fold up easily you have to remove the handlebar which is a pain to get back on and its hard to fold.

Love the product. The only drawback is that it is misleading. It doesn't come with any videos - only a CD trying to get you to buy the videos. Go on [@] and you can find tons of rebounding videos. Also, be careful overdoing it the first few times. It can be really painful for your neck and shoulders.

Purchased primarily for my 5 year old grandson who has Cerebral Palsy and does not walk. I am satisfied with the product; but, would have liked to have the height of the balance bar adjustable. We did a lot of research on which trampoline to buy and were looking at a way more expensive one - we are very happy we chose this one!
Our kids love this product. The kids do gymnastics and love jumping on it. It shakes a tad because they jump super high but the bar helps them remain stable. (Some day may be I will get a turn?!)
It only took a few minutes for my husband to setup. It smells a bit at first but the smell goes away after a few days.

Wish it would fold up easier for storage and maybe be a bit larger in the circumference. Not sure if trampolines should be larger or this is standard size for a reason?

The urban rebounder was delivered quickly and was easy to unfold and set up. My kids love it! They have used it everyday since we received it. My son, who is 6 and has to strengthen his trunk and core, can't get enough of this jumper. It helps with all the extra energy that my kids have, especially when they can't go outside because of inclement weather.
I have jumped on it a bit, but can't wait to get into a routine and start getting strong and lose some weight. The videos look great too.
The bar is a little shakey, but it was described as being that way. It is not supposed to be held onto really, just for balance. The kids love to hold on as they jump and it is great for that purpose though. It is added safety in a sense.

I read all the reviews and decided to order this trampoline for my children to use to burn off all that extra energy duing the winter when they can't go outside everyday. [...] had to hide it for a few weeks until christmas. The kids found it under the tree today and they spent the whole day taking turns jumping on it. We were worried that the springs would be too tight and our two year old wouldn't be able to jump very well on it right away but he had no problem and was jumping as well as our five year old. This trampoline is very sturdy and we are also planning on using it during our workouts. The kids were totally wore out before bed - this was the best christmas present ever!

I ordered this after reading about many other products of the same type. I am very happy with my choice. It is very sturdy and I feel safe while using it. The safety rail is a great feature and worth the extra money, at least for me. I did have some problem with setup, only because I didn't have another person to hold it down for me. Once I had it unfolded, the rest of the setup was not difficult. As for being portable, it's not, at least not in a practical way. Since it requires a lot of strength to fold and unfold, and it has 6 legs (a good feature), I will not be taking off the guardrail, loosening the legs, and folding it to slide under my couch, which was where I had planned to store it when I first decided to get it. That would be an exercise session in and of itself! I tip it on its side and slide it between the desk and sofa. The handle of the safety rail still sticks out, but it's not a big deal.It came with a DVD, as advertised. The DVD is ok but many of the routines I am simply not yet ready for. I'll probably try to find something more suited to my level. It does have a beginners section, though, so that's what I use. For variety, I'll want some different ones from which to choose.[...]

My 3 kids love their indoor, energy- busting trampoline!! It's perfect for cold days when we're stuck inside. Mom & Dad can bounce on it, too, because it's rated up to 300 lbs. I wish the handle was a little more secure/ sturdy. My 3 yr old tries to hang from it, which it is not designed for, so we have to remind him it's only for holding on. I'm so glad I bought this, it sure beats having them jump on beds or off the couch.

The metal around the springs is a bit pokey and dangerous for feet. The cusion on the stabilizing bar is flimsy and ripped off already. My kids just absolutely love it and are on it as often as they can working on different types of jumps (tuck, pike straddle, and other cheerleading or ski jumps) I'm 240lbs and am afraid that I'm going to wear it out too quickly. I'd rather let the kids enjoy themselves.

Initial nostril killer: The unit exuded a VOC aroma something like paint thinner-had to set it outdoors to out-gas for about a week.
Poor QC: 3 of the springs between the center section and its peripheral anchoring were only halfway through the connecting fabric loops-It required a very strenous workout of many upper body muscle groups to finally get the loops fully engaged into the spring hooks by using a screwdriver and ingesting 12 cans of Popeye brand spinach.
On the plus side: Once the above bugs were worked out, it is a great all-around conditioner, well conceived and versatile..am only on the beginning workout, but the variety of levels on the DVDs appears to be excellent. If there were any assurances of avoiding the above negative experiences, I would consider ordering a second one so that I and my spouse can shape up simultaneously.

I purchased the Urban Rebounder online, not really knowing what to expect. It was one of the more affordable trampolines, so I suspected there would be some things that I didn't like about it.
There is some assembly required, but I was able to put it together in 5 minutes without reading instructions. It packs away in a quarter fold, but when unfolded it locks into place and is surprisingly sturdy. Where many of these trampolines have 4 legs, the UR has 6 legs for extra stability.
At 240 pounds I had doubts about getting on this thing at first, but after a few test bounces it became clear it would have absolutely no problem supporting my weight. There are 48 industrial strength springs that hold the platform.
The spring tension is perfect, not too much sag but not too tight either. You can do slight elevations, or get higher bounces of 12 inches or more.
The exercise videos are a perfect compliment and allows you to follow along with different routine levels.
The only con I can list is that the support rail is not too sturdy, not really meant to support your weight, but just to assist with balance, though you'll probably find yourself removing it, as it seems to be more of an obstruction (though would not recommend this for those without decent balance).
In all, am very happy with this purchase, especially at such a low cost, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and low-impact exercise.

I would have liked it a bit smaller, but can't think of any others I've looked at as sturdy and comfortable. 6 legs is what I was looking for. It needs it to be very safe. bar to steady myself while jumping is necessary. Works fine but just a little flimsy unless I hold it close to my body. I have a broken back and leg/foot injury which has caused them both to be very unsteady. I need this to help me build up both so am starting very slow with small bounces and then bigger. I can feel the burn in my leg and butt muscles as they have atrophied a bit. It may be a very long recovery, but with this tramp, I can go at my own rate. Love it!

The video that comes with this trampoline gives a great workout, and you can always jump while listening to music and watching television. It is fun and easy and except for that good "burning" sensation in my legs that tells me that I am working my muscles, I would not know that I was exercising!!
The trampoline and video are great. It was just as promised. There was an unexpected, on-line glitch with my credit card and the very next day I got a lovely email from the company concerned with their ability to ship the item immediately. This was followed up by a cheerful representative who was concerned that I'd be disappointed. This glitch was easily resolved on the phone because I had inadvertently transposed a number. No sooner was this resolved by phone than a hour later, a follow up e-mail was sent to me thanking me for correcting the order information and assuring me that the item had shipped. Three days later, the trampoline was in my apt. Overall, I am thrilled with the follow up on phone and via email. Customer relations and satisfaction was great. The representative called me at dinner time and apologized for interrupting. He asked for a better time to call, and then it was THE SAME representative who followed up, not someone else reading his notes. Shipping was incredibly fast and a request for confirmation of delivery email followed. Finally, the quality of the product is excellent. This is definitely a great vendor to do business with. If I have occasion to shop with them again without hesitation- I will!!

I have read other reviews that said this product had a bad smell but I never noticed this with mine. It was easy to assemble and sturdy. I could feel it working from the minute I started using it. I have a bad heart and bad knees and this was really the best solution for me to get exercise in a low impact way.

I bought this trampoline for my 6-yr old son who gets OT for gross and fine motor issues. He is really tall and I was afraid to get a child one. It is great for the whole family-- all the kids play on it and jump holding the bar. I also use it to jog in place while I watch TV-- less impact on my knees. I would recommend it.

For someone who hates to exercise, this is fun to do. I'm in my mid fifties and was looking for something that was gentle but effective. I put some great workout music on my ipod and exercise 3 to 4 times a week. I've had my Urban Rebounder for about 6 weeks and have lost 5 lbs. I have more energy and look forward to my workouts. Not only is it made well, I really like the bar. Sometimes I need it and sometimes I don't but it's nice to feel secure when my balance is off.

My son has asperger's and this trampoline is his therapy to re-set himself. Others I bought at chain stores had basically exploded within a month from his constant bouncing, but the Urban Rebounder is built much more sturdy which was evident as soon as we took it out of the box, and he has been happily bouncing away for over a month now without a problem. Also, the fact that it folds makes it great for storage when we have visitors! I highly recommend this product.

I use the dvd that comes with it and I had to modify until I built up my endurance. The rebounder is a good alternative for my walking dvd, so I use it every other time I exercise and it's effective as well as enjoyable. My knees hurt the first few times I used the rebounder, but I guess I had to get used to the impact (although it is low impact). The more days I bounced, the less my knees ached during my exercise routine.
My delivery was prompt and the rebounder arrived in perfect condition. I love free shipping!

My grandson calls it the "bounce-a-line"! This was a good purchase. The set-up is simple. Legs are already on so all you have to do is open it and install the safety bar. I wasn't going to put the safety bar on until I began bouncing on it and realized my balance isn't what it once was! My daughter-in-law tried it and commented that she wished she had spent a little more money to get this instead of the bargain buy she purchased. The bounce area is larger than less expensive mini-trampolines and you are able to get some height when bouncing.

Bought this for my daughter who has some sensory issues per OT's recommendation. My whole family loves it! All 4 of my kids jump on it every day. The exercise video was challenging and exercising with resistance makes everything harder. Nice change of pace from going to the gym and so easy to store! Product seems sturdy and well made.

I have used my tramp for about 2 weeks now and am very overweight and this product allows me to exercise without hurting myself. I have feet issues so by not touching the floor my feet are eased and I can exercise more regularly. As a bonus, my legs are stronger also due to the pushing down. I am anxious to investigate the other senior programs I can do. Seems to hold my weight on there nicely but as of yet I don't jump but use it for walking, heel digs, kicks and such. Really fun, the time goes by quickly.

The Urban Rebounder was the very first mini trampoline I researched. It was a bit more expensive 4 yrs. ago when I checked and I am happy to say, "I have the best [$] exercising piece of equipment I ever bought...., and do I have several! I've suffered with FM and am recoving from a horrible and painful injury going back two weeks ago. I have a herniated disc that flared-up. for someone at age 60 it still is a good work out and doesn't hurt your joints. The senior workout is really a good cardiovascular workout. I don't know how anyone is able to do without the training bar but hope to continue and eventually I will be able to step up my program with not using the bar.
I do like that there were so many different exercise programs on the DVD and full exercise programs, that is a big plus.

This product came defective. The hinges that need to go together to lock in the trampoline were bent and rusted.. obviously it had been in storage for awhile.
Some of the springs went right through the material. That too had to be fixed. Not a major project but frustrating.
Aside from that..once i got it flattened...bending the hinges to fit and lock...fixing the material so that the sections were all connected..the trampoline was fun and useful.
Had this cost more than $100... i would never recommend it. For this amount, it gets the heart rate up, is fun and takes little space when using.

The rebounder I received is not the one that I thought I was ordering. The one shown on the website had a weight capacity of 350 pounds and the one I received had a capacity of 300 pounds. I don't weigh that much but wanted one that could take a lot of rough wear, weight wise.......I kept it because I'm satisfied with the product....but I still feel like it was a switch from the ad.

I use this 5 days a week, mostly I use the 45 min workout video it came with. I've had mine for almost a year and haven't been consistent until about a month ago. Still haven't lost any inches, but do feel better. I have noticed my ankle which I sprained back in June feels much stronger and does not ache like it did before. I bought this one for my son and his family because I think it is a good workout. I'm also hoping it will help my daughter-in-law's ankle as she has sprained it several times and has a lot of discomfort from time to time.

The product is great first and foremost because although it folds for easy storage, it is quite sturdy. Using the rebounder is like not working out at all, it is so enjoyable. Just set it in front of the t.v. and do the health bounce or full out jump, and you will reap a variety of benefits including better overall circualtion, as well as lung and cardio capacity, all without placing strain on your joints. I would highly recommend its use for everyone from the exercise novice to the professional. Thanks for selling the urban rebounder; wish you also sold the carrying case.

A fine investment - This has become a staple in my family's routine. I love it, my husband loves it, my kids even love it! We purchased the rebounder to replace a generic mini-tramp my son had used for years. The generic tramp worked for several years but the springs were now breaking faster than we could replace them. The Urban Rebounder is ideal for my son. He bounces on the rebounder for fun (usually with loud music playing). He uses the rebounder at least once a day for 10 minutes to 40 minutes at a time. I am extremely pleased with the construction of the urban rebounder, particularly with how the springs are attached to the frame. I'm sure we won't have the problem with springs breaking now!
